On Friday, March 4, 2022, I saw some chatter on SEO Community.
This is the first unconfirmed google algorithm update for march 2022.
On March 4th, Google’s search ranking algorithm may have been updated.
To begin, let me clarify that it is most likely unrelated to the page experience update for desktop, which began on February 22nd and finished nine days later on March 3rd.
On February 24th, we saw an unverified update, and things have been quite calm and stable since then.
But, as I previously stated, I noticed an increase in SEO talk on Friday, which was backed up by the tracking tools.

Inevitable fluctuations this week however yesterday was busy and it’s continued into today and with 10 hours of my Googleday to run I’m at a surprising 95.4% for my global site.
UK sites are down however also surprising at 82% with usually busier hours to come.

Kicked while you’re down. Down 20-40%.
